Wishing you a Happy New Year as we welcome and celebrate new paths forward!
As we release what no longer serves us, may we open to receive what aligns with our deepest desires, our sacred energy and our highest potential for elevated, spiritual growth 🙌
I hope your holidays have been filled with ease, laughter, love and deep rest.
I know for me, I'm setting intentions for deepening my ability to balance daily work and obligations with true rest, rejuvenation and more expansive time to reflect and enjoy this one great life -in sunsets, long nature walks, meditation, connection with soulful community- and open to the year ahead with intention and gratitude.
I take this time of late Dec/early Jan to listen to nature's cue and go inward- to journal on the past year and find the gems in the lessons of 2025, release what needs to be shed or composted into something new, and open to receive the wisdom within.
As many of you know, my focus for 2025 was to Stay Golden 🌟 To spread golden glitter throughout the world, stay true to myself, uplift others and remain in the light.
It's a choice, and I will continue this of course, but I'll also bring into 2026, a deeper refinement of being and of doing.
That's my word of the year, refinement. I'll be rebranding my business, refining my awareness, my energy, time, offerings, and will remain open to receive from a place of refined wisdom.
And so we arrive at this sacred threshold-a new year-and as the final breaths of 2025 release, we can all take our cue from the rhythms of nature & release what no longer serves as we step forward with clear intention for a new year.
Together, let's enhance our vitality, momentum, and fierce hearts as we forge ahead, staying rooted in soulful community, committed to deep rest and self care rituals that sustain us throughout the Winter season and beyond.
Yoga teaches us that true power and refinement is sustained through balance:
Sthira — effort, steadiness, grounding, resilience & Sukha — ease, joy, santosha (contentment) and spaciousness
Let your practices and rituals become not something to add, but something to return to—again and again.
To Sustain & Bolster
Slow, steady asana with longer holds to build inner strength
Pranayama, like nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) to balance the nervous system & remain focused
Consistency over intensity—small, daily contemplative practices that fortify your inner landscape
To Ground & Reflect
Sit in silence, even for a few minutes, with one hand on the earth or your heart reminding you who you are
Evening rituals: candle lighting, gentle forward folds, or legs-up-the-wall for calming, restful sleep
Honor rest as sacred and necessary, not earned
To Connect & Remember
Practice in sangha whenever possible—community is medicine
Healing circles, conversations, shared meals and movement
Journaling as sacred inquiry to remember your truth and essence
Let journaling be a conversation with your inner teacher.
You might explore:
What am I ready to shed as I leave 2025 behind?
What truth has been quietly asking for my attention?
What kind of fire do I want to tend in 2026—what truly deserves my energy?
What does devotion look like in my everyday life?
How do I want to show up for my community, and allow them to show up for me?
Allow these questions to evolve as you do....
And may we continue to gather, practice, and remember who we are—together.
Keep it going and let's grow the good together, cultivating intentional space for yourself in 2026!
